Cashalyst

If you use a credit or debit card for most of your transactions and hate doing manual data entry to keep track of your spending then Cashalyst is for you!

Cashalyst is a minimal effort finance tracking app. No manual transaction entries are required. All transactions are downloaded from your bank account(s) and stored securely on your device. Your data is not accessible by other apps on your device and is not stored on any external servers. You can optionally password protect your data. Cashalyst works best if you use a credit or debit card for your transactions since manual entry is not supported.

With Cashalyst you can:

• download transactions from all your bank accounts
• easily categorize downloaded transactions. Cashalyst has over 100 pre-defined categories
• add, delete and customize transaction categories
• search and filter your transactions
• automatically categorize transactions based on previously assigned categories
• summarize expenses and income for a particular time period (e.g. how much did I spend on groceries last month?)
• compare expenses and income across two different time periods (e.g. how much did I spend on groceries last month compared to 2 months ago?)

Please note that Cashalyst requires that your banking institution support transaction downloads in OFX or QFX (Quicken™) formats.
